In this project, my goal was to create the illusion of adventure and creativity that lies beneath the surface of the ocean. The main character of this piece carelessly jumps into the ocean, not expecting anything out of the ordinary. As he plunges into the world below, all the fantasies of the sea come to life. As a kid, I was always fascinated with the ocean and the creatures that call it home. In this piece, my childhood imagination comes to life with both fictional and non-fictional sea creatures. At the end of the illusion, everything goes back to normal, however life will never be what it once was. Nothing of the real world will reach the level of excitement as the underwater experience.
